StockingsOnly.com Product Review Fishnet Thigh High Stockings

Inconsistent products/No customer service

I placed my first order of fishnet thigh high stockings from StockingsOnly.com about 6 weeks ago.  Reasonably priced with discounts for quantity and  shipping was about $6.  The processing of the order was prompt and I received one black and one nude thigh high stockings in size tall within a week.

The spandex content for this pair was exactly as the website quoted – about 18% which made for an excellent feel. No gaping or stretching out – they stayed form fitting the whole time! The lace top of both pair left me with more to desire. The silicone was the wavy thin strands that tend to pull off of the lace within a short time. I decided right away to replace the lace top with some older stockings. I just cut off the lace tops that I wanted and sewed them on to the awesome fishnets.

I ordered both in size tall (I’m 5′11″) and the black pair fit great. The nude pair were way too short. I tried to cut the seam so that my toes would fit through hoping to gain an extra inch but it was no good. Because there isn’t enough fabric the stocking ends up shimmying down my legs until they literally fall off!

I wore the black pair for almost a month without an issue until I caught them on someones shoe and ripped a hole in the side. (Yes, they -still- make shoes with velcro! *sigh*)

So, about 2 weeks ago, I ordered 4 black fishnet thigh highs  size tall and 2 nude fishnet thigh highs size 1X (figuring the extra fabric would make them longer – which it did).  However, the product I received was completely different than the first pair! WTF?

The black pair had a different lace top – this time it was great! Thin wide bands of silicone make this lace top excellent. The fishnet material was definitely not 18% lycra – more like 5%. This fishnet stays up all night but pulls away at the back of my knee and front of my anckles. Sucky!

The nude pair was the great spandex content with the same crappy lace top as before. The only difference was the lace top was way too big. I had to take in about 2 inches to keep them from falling down. However, its a losing battle as there isn’t enough silicone to keep them up anyway.

After I received the first order, I wrote 5 emails to the company asking about an affiliate program as I’d like to promote their products on FST.  Its been over a month now without a response. Then again, about a week ago, I wrote to StockingsOnly.com asking WTF? with the different products I received. Still, no answer.

The end result? I cannot recommend this company or their products due to inconsistency and lack of customer service even though theirs was the closest I have come to finding the stockings that I like. I didn’t see a point to purchasing the sheer stockings and even if they were good,  I still wouldn’t recommend the site due to the lack of service.
